Trouble-shooting 'Connection Failed':
On your Windows Computer:
iTunesToAndroid.exe has to be running in computer system-tray(bottom-right corner of your computer desktop).
iTunes must be running in windows computer:
If you see a new version alert in iTunes, like below, please download & update your Apple iTunes software. Alert messages like these will prevent android app
connection with iTunes:
If itunesToAndroid.exe is blocked by computer Firewall, create an Exception in Firewall settings to allow itunesToAndroid.exe perform network actions.
Also, make sure your Anti-virus software doesn't stop iTunesToAndroid.exe from transferring data.
We recommend turning off Anti-virus software
unblock 'iTunesToAndroid.exe' under your AntiVirus software configuration/settings.
On your Android Device:
Connected Once, but doesn't connect now??
* Mostly because, your windows computer ip adddress is changed. It happens when multiple devices are connected on to same WiFi Router.
* And this problem should not come for auto-connected devices, as app automatically detects new ip address and uses it.
* how to fix? Please update your Android app with new ip address of windows computer.
Anti-Virus software alerts 'iTunesToAndroid.msi' as Virus:
When I download itunesToAndroid.msi file, it is getting removed on my Windows Computer:
* Anti-virus soft wares think iTunesToAndroid.msi is not a trusted software and removes it from computer. Please configure your anti-virus software to not remove iTunesToAndroid exe file.
